an eulogy from your love

an eulogy from your love
Soft sensuous vibes
reach far beyond the edge of my body,
breeding mood,
lust,
slowly you approach front stage
embracing the crowd
eyes closed,
air pumping,
I am not your instrument
I am an extension of your own.
Country vocals try
to pair alongside
our throaty sounds of raw emotion,
But like the crash
the sounds just collide
leaving one at least to subside
So long at last,
your music would be admired,
for it is you who helped conspire
a band whose motive was to inspire
I will miss you the most
farewell my love,
your sax
